CTSources

A private, self-hosted service that collects source information for the CT trading application stack.

Development status. Source integrations are under development. This public website provides application information and policies; it does not connect a Google account or execute trades.

What the service is for

CTSources is being developed for its operator’s personal use. Planned source connections include a private trading-ideas spreadsheet, subscribed newsletter information, and selected market-data observations. CTTrader separately owns investment strategies, portfolio decisions and broker execution.

Why Google Sheets access is requested

The planned Google connection reads a spreadsheet already shared with the operator’s Google account. It extracts published entry setups and protective-stop levels so CTTrader can evaluate a dedicated ideas portfolio under its own risk and allocation rules.

The connection requests read-only Google Sheets access. It does not request permission to modify the spreadsheet. The service is configured to read specific spreadsheet ranges, although the requested Google permission is broader than a single spreadsheet.

Authorization and control

The operator grants access through Google during setup. The backend is designed to retain the credentials needed for unattended reads and automatic access-token refresh. Google account access can be revoked at any time.
